Product and Supplier descriptions have been extended to 56 characters from 28. This major improvement means that the majority of products can now be entered without the need to abbreviate parts of the description. This has the obvious benefits of saving time on both Manual and Data Import. The other benefit means you can use the descriptions direct to the web without needing to rename products and further improves the benefits of Easitill Web.

| Improvements to Multi-Site Data Manager transfers for both analogue and broadband have been made. The results log has been split to automatic and manual results, so that the automatic results can be preserved for reference whilst doing manual corrections. Apart from being approx ten times faster than the analogue, the broadband system has several functional improvements. |

We are currently working on a Easitill smart card-based loyalty function designed for retailers seeking to improve customer retention and reward customer loyalty. This system will have an electronic loyalty purse option that retailers can offer to their customers. Loyalty credits can be stored on the card for use only at the issuing retailer, giving the customer a reason to return to the store. When the customer returns to the store some or all of the accumlated Loyalty Credits can be used to pay for purchases with the appropriate amount being deducted from the card value stored on the card. When the card is used, the retailer’s database can then identify customers’ particular spending habits, providing necessary information for strong target marketing campaigns.
